Think of your life as a bus. You need to get the right people on the bus, the wrong people off the bus, and the right people in the right seats. Too many of us keep people aboard our bus out of guilt, history, or fear. “We give the best seats to whoever got there first, not who deserves them. If there are people in your life who don’t give you energy, don’t support you, or don’t add some type of value to your life, it’s time to let them off the bus. That doesn’t mean burning bridges; it means you need to stop investing in those relationships.
